Hunting – between culture and nature. This is the project realised with the cooperation between Bytnica Commune (lead partner) and German association Jagdverband Spree-Neiβe/Cottbus. The project is to last for two years and is designated for inhabitants of Krosno District, Spree-Neiße District and the city Cottbus. The main goal of the project is to make people conscious of part the hunting take in natural ecosystems, and its importance for the human culture, at the same time making people sensitive to the beauty of nature.

The project concerns many undertakings, which will be  realised according to the following schedule:

·         inaugural and integration hunting fest, which already took place in August this year.

·         Hunting workshops, including:

1.     Workshops of hunting signals playing (October 2013 and March 2014)

2.     Workshops of hunting cooking (November 2013 and February 2014)

3.     Workshops of decoys (January 2013)

·         Arts contest for primary schools and junior high schools (May – June 2014)

·         Nature contest for primary schools and junior high schools (May – June 2014) altogether with publication of the articles on the website: http://www.facebook.com/nctwobytnica (January 2014)

·         Nature trips „Get o know your neighbours nature" (April – May 2014)

·         Finishing and culmination hunting fest  (August16, 2014).

Information about particular actions will be successively published on the websites of  the Forest District and the Commune, so we would like to encourage you to fallow all the news.   We invite all interested to take part in the project.
